RECENT ACTIVITIES 
• Three members from BSS have grabbed the first position in “Business Plan Competition 2004” organized by American International
University Bangladesh.
• BSS members have gone through a daylong training session on “Capital Market Regulation in
Bangladesh” under the auspices of Securities and Exchange Commission, Bangladesh ministry of Finance, Govt. of Bangladesh.
• BSS has arranged a seminar titled “Human Resources Management and Recruitment Policy as Practiced by HSBC”.
• BSS has also arranged Business Debate. |
SPOT LIGHT ON BSS
It is almost a cliché that extra curricular activities are now making a safe platform for graduates in the job market. Having a plain degree is no longer enough; no matter which of the 52 private universities you graduate from, no matter what program you enroll in (be it B.B.A, M.B.A) your future employers are bound to glance through your hobbies, interests and activities. The BSS of the SoB, IUB is one such society where you not only get the opportunity to evaluate your abilities as a leader, but here you can also dare to envision yourselves as a potentially successful entrepreneur as well as a manager. Progressive leaders and visionaries are the root course of development. When a group of people join together to plan for the betterment of a society, they become the people with a vision of the future, one which can make a remarkable difference. BSS is such an example of this kind of group fit to face the challenges of the 21st century. It shows the pathway to becoming a “challenging tomorrow's global leader”.
